What information do you need in order to able to make my glasses?

The following information must be on your prescription:

  • The sphere (S, SF or SPH) and/or cylinder value of each eye (C or CYL)
  • If there is a cylinder value, there must also be an axis value (A, As, AXI, AXS or AXIS). Please note that not everyone has a cylinder, so this information might not be on your prescription. If not, please fill in the cylinder and axis as 0.
  • The pupillary distance (PD) of each eye

When you want to order a pair of varifocal or reading lenses, we also need your reading addition (ADD).

It is also possible to place your order and send us your prescription details at a later time. We will reserve the frames for you and start with your new pair as soon as we have all your details complete.

Your prescription document should be no older than 2 years. Additionally for customers who are under 16 the prescription needs to be signed by a GOC registered optometrist.
