We are looking for a Financial Accountant at our Amsterdam HQ, 32-40 hours.
What our Financial Accountants do
- Take full ownership manage the end-to-end financial administration for specific entities – from invoice processing to reporting
- Keep our numbers clean and reliable prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end close activities
- Support performance insights review P&Ls and contribute to accurate, timely reporting for our 80+ stores across 9 countries
- Be a trusted finance partner act as the go-to person for finance-related questions from stores and HQ teams
- Build strong relationships coordinate with vendors, reconcile statements, and resolve invoice queries
- Keep cash flowing smoothly assist with payment runs, process employee declarations, and reconcile bank transactions
- Improve how we work help optimise financial processes and reporting in a fast-growing, changing environment
- Support key moments contribute to ad hoc business cases and assist during the annual audit
You have
- Experience with fixed assets accounting; experience with Odoo ERP is a strong plus
- Strong VAT knowledge strong experience on VAT submission
- Educational foundation a solid accounting or finance degree (BSc or MSc level)
- Relevant experience 3–5 years of finance or accounting experience.
- The salary range for this role is €45,000 – €48,000 gross per year (incl.), based on 40-hours.
- Analytical skills strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel formulas
- Solution-oriented mindset ability to adapt quickly when things change
- Ownership mindset comfort taking ownership and improvising when needed
- Languages fluency in English, both spoken and written

Zo gaat het proces bij ons op het hoofdkantoor:

Telefoongesprek: Een kort gesprek met ons Talent-team om jouw verhaal te horen en meer over ons te vertellen.
Interviews: Je spreekt met de manager (en soms een collega). Voor sommige functies hoort er een kleine opdracht of case bij, zodat we jouw talent kunnen zien.

Kan ik hybride of op afstand werken?
Ja. Op ons hoofdkantoor werken we hybride: drie dagen op kantoor en twee dagen flexibel. Voor een aantal functies is volledig remote werken mogelijk. Details hierover en de mogelijkheid tot visumondersteuning staan altijd in de vacature.
