On our journey, we’ve set some goals to reach by 2021 and beyond. Keep your eyes peeled for updates, because we’re not stopping here.

CO2 neutral by 2030

We want to positively contribute to the world we live in which is why we’re declaring a climate emergency. We hope that this will drive us to create meaningful change and become carbon neutral by 2030.

Product and packaging

  • Make 100% of the collection from bio and pre-production recycled acetate by the end of 2020.

  • Remove all unnecessary packaging (like paper cards and boxes) by 2020.

  • Produce all packaging from 80% sustainable materials by November 2020. 

  • Invest in reusable packaging or set up a recycling initiative for packaging by 2021.

People

  • Our direct suppliers have already signed our Code of Conduct. By the end of 2020, we want our indirect suppliers to sign it too.

  • Become a certified B Corporation (focusing on environmental and social performance) by 2021.

Impact

  • Reduce our average emissions per frame by 10% in 2020, compared with 2019 (read more).

  • Reduce our average emissions per frame by 15% in 2021, compared with 2020.

  • Offset 100% of our CO2 emissions by 2020.

  • Become 100% carbon neutral by 2030.
