Technically, these are our women’s sunglasses, but, really, most of them pretty much suit anyone. A year-round essential, our bold styles are the ideal accents to finish off your look – we’re talking statement oversized frames, retro-chic cat-eye shades, and more, in all sorts of slick colourways. Bonus: we also do them with polarised and prescription lenses.
Designed in-house in Amsterdam, they’re handmade in some of the best factories out there using quality materials, including bio and recycled acetate.
Find yourself squinting on a sunny day, even with sunglasses on? Give our Polarised Lenses a try. Not to get too techy, but they have a special filter which helps effectively reduce glare from reflective surfaces, like water, snow and car windshields. (For the lowdown, head here.) Like our regular sunnies, they come with the full whammy of scratch-resistant coating, and 100% UV-A and UV-B protection.
There are three colour options for our Polarised Lenses: green, grey, and brown, with the colour determined by the sunglasses chosen. If you want to know the pre-set colour for your specific frames, drop us a line.
Polarised Lenses can be added to non-prescription, Single Vision and Varifocal Sunglasses for an additional £50 – but unfortunately not to our Premium Lenses, sunglasses with gradient lenses, or Same Day Glasses at the moment.
We offer prescription lenses and non-prescription lenses for sunglasses – if needed, book a free eye test with us in store. Don’t want to deal with the hassle of switching between glasses and prescription sunglasses? Try our Clip-ons, which transform trusty specs into sunglasses in an instant.
Our growing collection of responsibly made frames are made from bio and recycled acetate.
Bio acetate is like regular acetate, except it's mixed with bio-based plasticisers — made from renewable sources — instead of oil-based ones. It’s recyclable and biodegradable, too.
Recycled acetate is made from pre-consumer waste – off-cuts from production that are melted down, formed into new acetate sheets and cut into frames.
One of the kindest things we can do for our planet is to make the most of what we already have. For us, that means extending the life of our frames by giving our glasses another chance to shine with Reframe. Great quality eyewear at a lower environmental cost.
